The book is about the popular and very successful Robinson R22 helicopter. There are 10 chapters in all covering: models, engine, safety, an interview with Frank Robinson, buying compared with hiring, accidents, an interview with Kurt Robinson, where to fly, benefits of flying, and a ranking of the ten greatest helicopters chosen by a panel of experts. The book is fairly light on technical terminology so that it will be accessible not only to pilots, but to anyone with an interest in helicopters. There are 56 full colour photographs throughout 136 gloss art pages. Printing is on quality 170 gsm paper with durable laminated covers. The size is A5 paperback. The photos above are from the book and show the Mariner model, various new and newly rebuilt 22s and 44s inside the Robinson factory hangar, and the standard R22 instrument cluster. |
