The book is a collection of over 110 full colour photographs of vintage motorcycles used for sprinting / drag racing, including rider and machine regulations. There are 54 different bikes from 20 different manufacturers including Triumph, Vincent, Douglas, BSA and Harley Davidson. National Sprint Association regulations are explained, and there are terminal speed and elapsed time figures for the bikes. For example, a 1958 Royal Enfield of a mere 250cc achieved a quarter mile terminal speed of 84mph in 15.64 seconds. The book is an A5 (210x148mm) 84 page paperback printed on heavy gloss art paper.
